If you live close to a bigger city, they often have beautiful and unique wall murals and artwork on the sides of buildings that can make for a very creative location for your brand’s photoshoot. The right mural can serve as a perfectly edgy backdrop for your photos, or can help bring out your brand’s artistic side. Buildings and structures in cities provide their very own personality that may just vibe with yours. Another good thing about these locations - they’re usually free to access too! Just be mindful of foot traffic so you don’t have to battle crowds during your photoshoot.

The use of AirBnB for branding photoshoots is becoming more popular, and for good reason! There are so many rentals to choose from regardless of where you are, so finding an affordable place that can match your brand’s look is usually pretty easy. Renting an AirBnB or even a hotel room or venue affords you the privacy during your photoshoot that you don’t get if you choose a public location.

Cafes & Restaurants

Using a cafe, restaurant or small coffee house can be a great location option for your branding photoshoot, as well. They can offer a laid back, normal day kind of feel, plus the coffee and deserts you treat yourself to can double as props for your photos! Just be mindful to check with the restaurant or cafe owner first for permission and ask if there is a less busy time.

Home or Office

Another free, private and foolproof location for your brand photoshoot is in your own space! As long as the space is clean, free of clutter and on-brand, you can utilize your home, your office or even your own backyard. Using your own home might not be the ideal location for everyone, but if you can make it work, it’s definitely one of the easiest to work with!

The most important thing to keep in mind when you are choosing your branding photoshoot location is that you need to feel confident. In order for you to feel confident and get the best ever results out of your photoshoot, your location should be one that allows you to feel safe and comfortable in every way. Make sure your location checks off all the boxes: utilities to change clothes, accessibility to the location itself, level of privacy and business during the time you plan your session, and the weather.
